Celebrating our 65th Anniversary with the Chamber - Thurs. Oct. 13

Join us tomorrow in celebrating our 65th Anniversary at the October Networking Mixer. Come see what Gateway is all about and network with fellow Chamber Members while enjoying delicious complimentary food, beverages, and desserts from Home Plate Deli & Caterers, Town & County Liquors, and Rip Van Winkle Brewing Co. Our PROS and Day Habilitation students will be showcasing their artwork during the event and we'll be offering tours of renovated spaces within our headquarters.

Gateway Hudson Valley assists people in choosing, acquiring, using, and maintaining the skills and supports necessary to achieve success and satisfaction in their lives. We accomplish this through integrated vocational, therapeutic, residential, and business services.

Chamber Mixers are a great way to network and promote your business. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards. There is no charge for Chamber Members to attend but reservations are required. Mixers are open to Chamber Members 21 years of age and older.

Prospective Members interested in attending must contact Jess Davis (845) 338-5100 x3.

October is for wellness

October is dedicated to some very important, close-to-our-heart health issues, one of which is National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month.

There are many ways to get assistance here in the Hudson Valley and to receive screening for depression and other mental health concerns, whether through your general healthcare provider, or at Gateway through our intake coordinator. The first steps are so very important on the road to recovery. Gateway Hudson Valley offers different approaches to assist you or a loved in in the process of managing or working through a mental health diagnosis. There are many options to fulfilling goals and we are here to help! For example, art therapy is one class that is offered in our PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) program, and the creations that come out of this class are stunning!

Stephanie Turco, President & CEO of Gateway Hudson Vallely and Elizabeth Strein, Executive Assistant & Foundation Manager were interviewed by Peter Kaye of 91.7 Air 1 Radio recently. You can tune in and hear this interview about the services and programs of Gateway on October 16 at 10:30 p.m.

We are honored that the Kingston Elks Lodge #550 has chosen Gateway Hudson Valley to support for their first Annual Gatsby Charity Gala on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at The Chateau. Dinner, dancing, auctions, and a cash bar; costumes optional but strongly encouraged!

Tickets may be purchased by contacting Mindy Vanek at 646-329-4679 or Elizabeth at estrein@ghv.org . We look forward to seeing you there!
