The Daily Freeman highlights some of our many services

Gateway programs offer more than meals for seniors” reads the headline in the Sunday, March 27th edition of the Daily Freeman. April is the month of...

Autism Awareness: Autism is a complex, lifelong developmental disability that typically appears during early childhood and can impact a person’s social skills, communication, relationships, and self-regulation. Autism is defined by a certain set of behaviors and is a “spectrum condition” that affects people differently and to varying degrees. Click here to learn more. (Autism Society)

Stress Awareness: Stress can be debilitating, and it can cause and/or aggravate health problems. And since stress is a normal part of human existence — nobody is immune to it — it’s important to arm ourselves with knowledge so that we recognize when stress rears its ugly head. (Amazingly, we don’t always notice it’s happening to us.) It’s important to learn some strategies for coping with this particular silent scourge (National Today). Gateway Hudson Valley's PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) classes offer ways to cope with stress. Try one of our breathing techniques here to help manage your stress quickly.

We need your help!

Governor Hochul has proposed adding a 5.4% Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) to the Budget, the Assembly has proposed doubling it to 11% and the Senate has proposed COLA funding over two years. We need you to raise your voice in support of an 11% permanent COLA for mental health and substance use services/providers.

PLEASE CALL AND SAY: I am calling to encourage all parties to include an 11% permanent COLA linked to the July CPI-U inclusive of Health Home Care Management and the NYS Supportive Housing Program in the final enacted 2022-23 budget.

NYS Senate: 518-455-2800

NYS Assembly: 518-455-4100

Governor Hochul: 518-474-8390
