Outdoor Movie!

Join us for a FREE outdoor screening of the documentary “Crip Camp – A Disability Revolution” at 8:00pm, Thursday, August 5th at our Kingston facility on Amy Kay Parkway, just off of Route 32 across from The Chateau.

This Academy Award-nominated film and Sundance Film Festival winner follows a group of teens with disabilities who attended a groundbreaking summer camp in the Catskills during the 1970s. Their experiences at Camp Jened inspired them to build a movement, forging a new path toward greater equality. The film represents just one of the thousands of stories from the Disability Movement that have not yet received adequate attention.

View the official trailer here.

We hope you’ll join us for this special free event. Bring your favorite beach or lawn chair as we'll be seating on our new parking lot, and enjoy some popcorn on us. We look forward to seeing you on August 5 at 8pm. (Rain date: Thurs. Aug. 12)
