Holiday Gatherings with our Ulster County Seniors

Our Food Services team along with Ulster County's Office for the Aging hosted two holiday meals recently. One for Thanksgiving in Saugerties and one for the December holidays in Hurley. We love this time of year, getting everyone together to celebrate the holiday season with Chef Diane Reeder's good food, music, and lots of smiles.

Over the past few weeks, we took the time to celebrate our collective achievements through simple moments like sharing meals and playing games. These gatherings remind us that the work we do transforms lives—including our own. A unified team not only makes our daily tasks more enjoyable but also allows us to solve complex problems with greater ease. After a remarkable year, we look forward to serving our community and overcoming new challenges together in 2026.

Employees Recognizing Employees

The Kudos Card Program was launched in April 2024 by Gateway's Human Resources department.

Employees are encouraged to present a Kudos Card to any other employee to show their appreciation for things like pitching in or being a great team player.  The Kudos Card can be presented to one’s manager, employee, or colleague.  Each quarter, HR draws from the submitted Kudos Cards to give the winner a $50 gift card! 

Kudos Card Recipients are recognized on the employee web portal for a quick reference, but we wanted to publicly recognize those employees here for the fourth quarter 2025, more than we have had since the inception of the program. Thank you for your exceptional work!
