Our Employees SHOWED UP at our Annual Employee Appreciation Picnic

Our team kicked off July by coming together for our Annual Employee Appreciation Picnic. Employees from across the agency enjoyed a delicious Brooks' BBQ lunch, sweet treats from License to Chill Ice Cream, and plenty of friendly competition and camaraderie.

Events like these give us an opportunity to celebrate the people who make Gateway's mission possible every day. The dedication, compassion, and hard work of our employees are at the heart of everything we do, and we are grateful for their unwavering commitment to the individuals and communities we serve.

September 14th: Join Us on the Green

Mark your calendars for Gateway's 34th Annual Doug Maloney Golf Tournament, taking place on September 14th at the beautiful Wiltwyck Golf Course.

We're currently seeking golf teams and event sponsors to help make this year's tournament another great success. Whether you're looking to enjoy a day on the course, connect with fellow community members, or support Gateway's mission, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Last year's tournament sold out well before the event date, so don't miss your opportunity to secure your spot. Gather your team, become a sponsor, and join us for a memorable day of golf, camaraderie, and community impact.

PROS Monthly Open House

Join us on the second Monday of each month for a PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) OPEN House from 2-3:30pm. Open to the public for tours and questions with staff and participants and help with referrals. It's always nice to see where you'll be meeting with people and who you'll be meeting with. This month, our Open House featured an Art Show showcasing books and artworks created by those in the program. The talent took our breath away!

Employees Recognizing Employees 

The Kudos Card Program was launched in April 2024 by Gateway's Human Resources Department. 

Employees are encouraged to present a Kudos Card to any other employee to show their appreciation for things like pitching in or being a great team player.  The Kudos Card can be presented to one’s manager, employee, or colleague. Each quarter, HR draws from the submitted Kudos Cards to give the winner a $50 gift card!  

Kudos Card Recipients are recognized on the employee web portal for a quick reference, but we wanted to publicly recognize those employees here for the end of May through July - Colleen Vaughn (HR), Jessica James (Residential), Joe Canzone (HR), Justin Murphy (HR), Luis Aguirre (Residential), Ralph Smith (IT), Ryan Faulkner (Custom Cleaning), and Steven Durkin (Residential).
