Joining in on one voice

Gateway Hudson Valley joined Jawonio and 3200 others from advocates, providers, staff, families and self-advocates to make sure that state, local, and federal government prioritize funding for programs, services, and compensation for DSPs (Direct Support Professionals) in government budgets. This event shines a spotlight on our workforce crisis, raising salaries to meet inflation, and protecting our services. Programs that support individuals with disabilities cannot function without the amazing staff that show up every day.

Dare to Celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month DDAM

This month we highlight people with developmental disabilities who are daring to dispel ableist stereotypes by achieving their personal goals and contributing to their communities. These people “dare” to be homeowners and taxpayers, they “dare” to be students or advocates, or they “dare” to participate in their community or compete in a sport. People with developmental disabilities face barriers to inclusion every day, including the barriers of stigma, discrimination, lack of understanding from the community, inaccessible transportation and physical barriers.

PROS Open House - monthly 

NEW!!! Join us on the second Monday of each month for a PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) OPEN House from 2-3:30pm. Open to the public for tours and questions with staff and participants and help with referrals. It's always nice to see where you'll be meeting with people and who you'll be meeting with. UPDATED SCHEDULE for our Free Transportation Service

We've added a stop at Health Alliance Hospital for our FREE transportation service around the Kingston and Port Ewen area. Look for a van with the Gateway logo for a free ride, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays).
