Another successful SPRING FLING!

Thank you to our sponsors - Ellenville Regional Hospital, Ulster Federal Credit Union, Crop Shop, Ulster Savings Bank, Hudson Valley Financial Services, Devine Insurance, Bank of Greene County, New Paltz Health & Nutrition Center - and all our supporters, volunteers, and staff members along with the staff at The Venue Uptown who did a fantastic job! A special shout out to Jess Davis of the Ulster County Regional Chamber of Commerce for emceeing the event. Congratulations to all our winners - especially Joey LoBiano, Chris Corallo, Rick Mantey, and Darlene Bover. You all helped us to raise almost $16,000 for the programs and services that help our community members with intellectual, developmental, and physical disabilities, and those who struggle with mental illness find a safe place to live, rewarding work, and the ability to forge meaningful relationships. THANK YOU!!!

Find Your Balance with "Be Well" this month 

This month (May is Mental Health Awareness Month), the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) has launched the Be Well public awareness campaign. Mental health is deeply personal, and there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to wellness. Whether it’s through mindfulness, practicing gratitude, or mastering new coping exercises, the goal is to find the unique combination of activities that works for you. Check out their site and see what might spark your interest. 

 

Gateway on the Radio

Gateway's CEO and Brand Manager were interviewed in late March on Townsquare Media of the Hudson Valley's In Touch program with Trevor Eichler about our services. Thank you for thinking of us. PROS Open House - monthly 

NEW!!! Join us on the second Monday of each month for a PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) OPEN House from 2-3:30pm. Open to the public for tours and questions with staff and participants and help with referrals. It's always nice to see where you'll be meeting with people and who you'll be meeting with. Employees Recognizing Employees 

The Kudos Card Program was launched in April 2024 by Gateway's Human Resources department. 

Employees are encouraged to present a Kudos Card to any other employee to show their appreciation for things like pitching in or being a great team player.  The Kudos Card can be presented to one’s manager, employee, or colleague. Each quarter, HR draws from the submitted Kudos Cards to give the winner a $50 gift card!  

Kudos Card Recipients are recognized on the employee web portal for a quick reference, but we wanted to publicly recognize those employees here for the beginning of the second quarter of 2026 - Keith Blair, VP of Business Services & Development, James Blatz (Custom Cleaning), Heidi Coleman (Finance), Ronald Corrado (Custom Cleaning), Stephanie Ferraro (Compliance), Andrew Jones (Residential), Paul Pierson (Custom Cleaning), Jacqueline Rhue (Residential), and James Vicks, III (Custom Cleaning).

We've added a stop at Health Alliance Hospital for our FREE transportation service around the Kingston and Port Ewen area. Look for a van with the Gateway logo for a free ride, Monday - Friday (excluding holidays).
