Ulster County Seniors celebrate Thanksgiving

Gathering for a meal is joyful! We are thankful for our Ulster County seniors, and that we are able to serve them a delicious holiday meal together with the Ulster County Office for the Aging (OFA) team. Socializing and personal interaction are just as healthy as the nutrients in the delicious food that was served by Food Services Manager Diane Reeder. If you or someone you know would benefit from home delivered meals or time with others at the Community Cafes, please contact us at 845-331-2180. OFA's next holiday meal is on Friday, December 6 at the Hurley Reformed Church. Reservations are required.

PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) is hosting an open house on December 3 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. and you're invited. Discover the range of programming offered by our wonderful staff here at Gateway and delight in light bites created by our own Diane Reeder, Food Services Manager. We look forward to welcoming you!

Christmas is Coming...

And while you're at the Open House.... We're happily collecting toys, stocking stuffers, and winter-wear for children on behalf of People's Place annual Project Santa program. We have two boxes, one at our Main Entrance and one at our Employee Entrance. And they are already collecting items! If you're visiting us in the near future, bring a gift to be given. Let the season begin!

Hannaford selects Gateway Hudson Valley to benefit in November

The Hannaford Store Leadership Team has selected Gateway Hudson Valley as a November 2024 Community Bag Program Nonprofit Partner. This means Gateway will receive a $1 donation for every $2.50 reusable Community Bag sold during November 2024 at the Hannaford Kingston Plaza, 100 Plaza Road, Kingston, NY.

We are so honored and thankful for this opportunity from our friends at Hannaford Kingston Plaza! Help the environment and help Gateway help our community members with disabilities when you shop.

Free Transportation Service

Did you know that Gateway offers a FREE transportation service around the Kingston and Port Ewen area? Look for a van with the Gateway logo for a free ride, Monday - Friday (except holidays).

RCAL Disabilities Resource Fair

On November 9th, Gateway teamed up once again with RCAL at their bi-annual Disabilities Resource Fair at the St. James Methodist Church in Kingston. Our team made up of Residential, Therapeutic, Vocational, and Health Home staff met with many community members. We hope to have the opportunity to serve them.

Employees Recognizing Employees

The Kudos Card Program was launched in April of this year by Gateway's Human Resources department.

Employees were encouraged to present a Kudos Card to any other employee to show their appreciation for things like pitching in or being a great team player. The Kudos Card can be presented to one’s manager, employee, or colleague. Each quarter, HR draws from the submitted Kudos Cards to give the winner a $50 gift card!

Kudos Card Recipients are recognized on the employee web portal for a quick reference, but we wanted to publicly recognize those employees here. Thank you for your exceptional work!
