Ulster County Office for the Aging Picnic

The second UC OFA picnic at Robert Post Park was well attended on a beautiful sunny August day.  The Gateway team is always delighted to make the food and help out at these wonderful events. We're looking forward to the Thanksgiving and Holiday meals coming up soon. If you're interested in receiving home delivered meals or joining in these fun events, contact us at (845) 331-2180.

 

Hudson Valley Renegades 'We Care Wednesday'

Gateway Hudson Valley was featured on Wednesday, August 13th at the Hudson Valley Renegades baseball game. We were honored to be there despite the rainy weather. Thank you, 'Gades for this great opportunity!  And thank you Residential Director, Mark Scott for throwing out the first pitch! 

 

Chronogram Readers' Choice Awards

We want to say thank you again for all of your support and votes for the 2025 Chronogram Readers' Choice Awards. Gateway Hudson Valley placed FIRST for Affordable Housing Organization and Public Health Organization, and SECOND place for Food Justice Organization and Public Health Advocate/Activist - CEO Stephanie Turco.

Our 33rd Annual Doug Maloney Memorial Golf Tournament was a huge success. We had another spectacular day at Wiltwyck Golf Club and raised over $33,000 for the programs and services that Gateway provides to adults with varying abilities and those in recovery. 

 

Gateway out and about...

Gateway was out and about in the community this past September weekend at the Disabilities Awareness Fair at the United Methodist Church on Pearl and Fair in Kingston and Plattekill Day in Plattekill. Our staff is happy to talk to community members about our services and how we might be able to help you or your loved ones. We hope to see you at an event in the near future - Golden Harvest Fall Festival (this afternoon at Robert Post Park), O+ Festival, UC Trunk-or-Treat at Kingston Plaza, and many more! 

 

Employees Nominating Employees

The Kudos Card Program was launched in April 2024 by Gateway's Human Resources department.

Employees are encouraged to present a Kudos Card to any other employee to show their appreciation for things like pitching in or being a great team player.  The Kudos Card can be presented to one’s manager, employee, or colleague.  Each quarter, HR draws from the submitted Kudos Cards to give the winner a $50 gift card! 

Kudos Card Recipients are recognized on the employee web portal for a quick reference, but we wanted to publicly recognize those employees here for the July to September 2025 time period. Thank you for your exceptional work!
